In-Season Scheduling Best Practices
The session covered the following key topics:
- Standings – What will the standings look like for your event? Be sure to set this up before your season gets underway such that once results begin coming in, the system can calculate the standings automatically for you. Tiebreakers too!
- Communication – Who will be notified when game schedules change? By default, those associated with the team – coaches & managers – receive notifications. League and club contacts can also be notified – be sure to adjust settings accordingly to keep everyone informed.
- Score Reporting – Who is in charge of reporting scores? Your league/event can decentralize this process by delegating responsibility to the home team or winning team. Take advantage of our PhoneItIn™ system to log scores directly from mobile devices.
