It's Memorial Weekend tournament time! As the traditional start of summer approaches, we hope you are looking forward three days of tournaments, sunshine, and honoring our military. This is always a busy time of year for Demosphere, and we know that the sports world is picking up for you, too! We want to wish seventeen of our clients luck with their Memorial Day Tournaments.

A grand total of 3,883 games have been scheduled and posted using the Tournament Management System. All games will have scores entered by Monday evening for their teams, players, and parents to review.

The photos are everywhere - President Barack Obama enjoying a Guinness in Ireland with wife Michelle at a local pub in Moneygall. As part of his trip to Europe with stops in England, France (for the G8 Summit), and Poland, Obama began in Ireland and stopped for a quick drink in the home town of his great-great-great grandfather. In a speech, Obama said he was "Barack Obama of the Moneygall Obamas" and got a rousing welcome.

This bit of history-seeking can actually help your organization as well. After Obama's visit, Irish-Americans are now better able to connect to the commander-in-chief through their shared Irish heritage that they probably had no idea even existed! With an election coming in 2012, every little bit helps.
