Civitan Soccer Club, a member of the Arlington Soccer Association, offers a recreational soccer program for children ages 5 through 16. The club competes in the Arlington Soccer Association league. The goal of Civitan Soccer is to provide an enriching and fun soccer experience for all players. Players are taught basic developmental soccer skills and are encouraged to develop good teamwork and exemplary sportsmanship. The club fosters a developmental approach for its young players. Winning is de-emphasized and skill enhancement is promoted. Special skills clinics and offseason community pick up soccer is offered to promote advancement.
The club was a charter member of the Arlington Soccer Association. Civitan teams are made of children who live in the Ashlawn, Carlin Springs elementary school districts. There are currently over 250 registered players & 16 teams competing in the Arlington Soccer Association. The club is a shining example of Arlington's diversity of cultures uniting around the world's most popular sport.
